Child Sexual Assault

Clearly what is presented here is a very, very small sampling of cases. Because sexual assault or sexual abuse can continue undetected for years, entries are sorted by the ‘year of last alleged illegal activity’ for that suspect. Recent years might appear to have fewer cases due to the typical delay in detecting the crime of sexual assault or sexual abuse. Generally speaking, the cases presented here are not the “credibly accused” cases we typically read about, but are rather actual alleged crimes marked by an arrest. “Credibly accused” cases can be found in the tab containing “scandals.”

Entries on these pages can contain arrests, charges, or indictments, which may eventually be reduced, dropped, or expunged, and as such, these actors may in fact be innocent in a court of law.

2014 – Victory Tabernacle of Hot Springs United Pentecostal Church, Hot Springs, AR. Andrew Lee Jackson (youth pastor) arrested for sex with a 13-year old girl on multiple occasions. Hot Springs youth pastor arrested in rape investigation.
2014 – ‘Elm and Hudson Church of Christ’, Tommy Lynn Bailey (pastor) arrested for sexual assault over years of young female. “She was just 14 years old, and… began touching her inappropriately and kissing her. At 15, he started to have sexual intercourse with her, four to five times a week.” Church comes to terms after pastor arrested.
2014 – Church of Messengers of God, Silver Spring, GA. Jeankite Joseph (pastor) arrested and charged with sexual assault of an 11-year old step-neice. Silver Spring pastor charged with sexually assaulting a minor.
2014 – Jericho Ministries International, Westminster, CO. Gerald Clark (pastor) arrested and charged for sexual assault of three teen females, some of whom came forward after initial charges. Pastor faces new sexual assault charges, prosecutors say new victims come forward.
2014 – Memorial United Methodist Church, Charlotte-Mecklenburg, NC. Orlando Agusto Caldera (minister) arrested and charged with “two counts of indecent liberties against a child.” 64-year-old Charlotte minister charged in child sexual assaults.
2014 – Unidentified church, Union Hill area, AR. Thomas Cody Kramer (pastor). Former Batesville pastor arrested on rape charges.
2014 – Clayton Avenue Baptist Church, Hugo, OK; and Spiro Baptist Church, Spiro, OK. Justin White (youth pastor) was arrested and charged with having sex with an underaged female student several times, and another girl at a different church. Hugo youth pastor, former teacher arrested for child sex crime.
2014 – St. Luke Church of God in Christ, Olive Branch, MS. Patrick Woods (minister) arrested and charged with “sexual battery and statutory rape by an authority figure.” It is alleged that “The 17 year old victim told investigators, she was sitting on a couch watching a movie in Woods’ Southeast Shelby County home, when he reached under a blanket and molested her.” Olive Branch MS COGIC minister arrested on sex battery, rape charges.
2014 – Sonido De Alabanza Church, Cicero, IL. Juan David Ferreras (youth minister) charged with sexually assaulted several children ages 9-17. “Some of the alleged assaults took place at the church, Ferreras’ apartment and two youth camp retreats.” Cicero youth minister Juan Ferreras accused of child sex abuse.
2014 – Centro Cristiano de Fe Church, Hesperia, CA. Victor Callejas-Vargas (youth pastor) arrested for sex with teenage female victims. He and another parishioner were charged with “suspicion of sex with a minor three years younger; sex with a minor with the suspect over 21 and the victim under 16 years of age; oral copulation with a person under 16; oral copulation with a person under 18 and sex with a foreign object.” Hesperia youth pastor, parishioner plead not guilty to having sex with teenage girls.
2014 – Bethel United Pentecostal Church, Hillsboro, OR. Dylan Ritterman (pastor) pled guilty to sexual abuse of two underage boys. A plea agreement prohibited charges concerning a third developmentally disabled victim. Youth pastor admits to sexually abusing boys, prays for healing.
2014 – Ascension Evangelical Lutheran Church; Precious is the Child Preschool; Rochester, MN; but at time of arrest was of St. Charles, MO. Matthew D. Luetke (former youth pastor & school principal) arrested for possession of child porn on his computer and trading in child porn (with police detectives). According to the criminal complaint, “Luetke told police he had exposed himself and allowed his genitals to be touched by female relatives when they were pre-school age when the family was living in Wisconsin and Minnesota.” Former Rochester youth pastor arrested for child porn.
2014 – Brooks Assembly of God, Brooks, OR. Peter James Bass (youth pastor) arrested and charged with “fifteen counts of Sodomy I and fifteen counts of Sex Abuse II.” He pled guilty and was sentenced. Brooks youth pastor sentenced to 33 years in prison.
2014 – Charlotte and Concord, NC. Bobby Price (youth pastor) charged with “indecent liberties with young boys who were in his care.” He pled guilty. Youth Pastor Watch: A Den of Wolves.
2014 – Bethel United Pentecostal Church, Baton Rouge, LA. David ‘Scott’ Lemley (pastor) arrested for rape of intellectually disabled girl (with the father’s consent). Pastor accused of having sex with intellectually limited woman won’t be charged, attorneys said.
2014 – Emanuel Baptist Church, South Haven, MI. Timothy Lawrence (youth pastor) charged with three counts “sexual misconduct of a minor.” Victims were females between 14-16 years. Former youth pastor charged with church sex abuse.
2014 – Oliver’s Grove Baptist Church, Four Oaks, Johnston County, NC. Stephen Aurthur Morris (pastor) arrested for 10 felonies including statutory rape. Some of the alleged attacks were on a 13-year old female. He was later charged for the sexual assault of two additional victims younger than age 13. 1) Pastor arrested and accused of child sex crimes in Johnston County, officials say. 2) Johnston County pastor faces additional child sex charge.
2014 – New Gospel Outreach Church, Scottsville, TN. Roy Neal Yoakem (pastor) arrested for “statutory rape charges involving a 14-year-old male member of his congregation.” He was charged with “charged with aggravated statutory rape, sexual battery by an authority figure, statutory rape by an authority figure and fugitive from justice.” He was a registered sex offender at the time of the incident. Pastor arrested on statutory rape charges in Gallatin.
2014 – Highland Park Baptist Church, Muscle Shoals, AL. Jeffrey Dale Eddie (children’s pastor) arrested and charged with, 31 counts of second-degree sodomy and three counts of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12.” According to investigators “a church employee stumbled upon Eddie with his arm around a young boy and a hand up his shirt.” Court documents released in children’s pastor sex abuse investigation.
2014 – Journey By Grace church, Rostraver, PA. Brian Keith Smith (youth pastor) arrested for sex with a 15-year old female. Youth Pastor Charged Over Alleged Sexual Activity With Teen Girl.
2014 – Life Church in Odessa, TX. Angel De Los Santos (youth pastor) pled guilty to sexual assault of a female child, “one count of indecency with a child and one count of criminal solicitation of a minor.” Former Church Youth Volunteer Pleads Guilty; Affidavit Reveals More About Pastors’ Arrests.
2014 – Unidentified new church, Salt Lake City, UT. Leonel Rocha-Pereda (pastor) arrested for sexual touching and sexually enticing communications with a 15-year old girl. He is alleged to have “grabbed the victim’s breasts and groin on two separate occasions. The alleged touching occurred at the victim’s home and at a local mall.” Teen victim in sexual exploitation case says suspect was pastor of her church.
2014 – Crossover Ministries, Green Bay, WI. Jerry Fletcher (pastor) arrested and charged with child sexual assault. He admitted to investigators he had sex with a 15-year old female multiple times. He had a prior conviction of a child sex assault which occurred in 1998 in Illinois. Black Creek pastor’s underage sexual history uncovered.
2014 – Mt. Eden Church, Hawesville, KY. Joshua Whicker (youth pastor) arrested for sexual assault of a 15-year old girl. He was charged with “charged with 2 counts of 3rd degree rape.” Former Youth Pastor Arrested for Alleged Sex Crimes.
2014 – The Life Church, Statesville, TN. Glen McCoy (co-pastor) arrested for rape of 17-year old boy. He met the boy online using a website. Former school employee, pastor facing sex charges involving minor.
2014 – Unidentified multiple churches, Daly City, CA. Venije Singkoh (pastor) charged with multiple instances of child molestation of 9-year-old girl. Due to poor evidence he “pleaded no contest to the lesser charge of misdemeanor child sexual annoyance.” Daly City pastor accused of child molestation pleads to significantly reduced charge.
2014 – Faith Baptist Church, Idaville, IN. James E. Crawn (pastor) arrested and charged with sexual abuse of two boys, one who was only 15 years old. White County pastor arrested on child molesting charges.
2014 – Dallas Center Church of the Brethren, Dallas, IA. Randy Johnson (pastor) arrested for sexual assault of a child on multiple occasions. Former Iowa pastor faces 13 charges, including sex crimes against child.
2014 – Amplify Church, Plum, PA. Daniel Allen Jack (pastor) arrested for rape of teen girl. Former Plum church youth leader charged with raping teen ordered to stand trial. Former Plum church youth leader charged with raping teen ordered to stand trial.
2014 – Morningside Community Church (now Abundant Life), Brookings, SD. Tim Bariteau (worship pastor) convicted of sex crime with a victim under age 16. Brookings church dealing with ex-pastor’s sex crime.
2014 – North Suburban Evangelical Free Church, Deerfield, IL. Samuel Kee (pastor) arrested for “sexual contact with a teenager.” Former Deerfield pastor pleads guilty, receives probation in sex abuse case.
2014 – Cowboy Way Church, Alvarado, TX. Dan Haby Jr. (pastor) arrested for sexual molestation of a teen boy age 15. A second charge was for a 17-year old victim. He pled guilty in exchange to deferred adjudication probation, which means if he stays out of trouble, his record will not reveal his conviction. Former Alvarado pastor admits to indecency with children.
2014 – Calvary Lutheran Church, Winger, MN; Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bejou, MN; and Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, McIntosh, MN. Scott Morey (former pastor) convicted on 14 counts for sex with juvenile male children. Minnesota ex-pastor gets 33 years for sexually abusing children.
2014 – Cornerstone Christian Church, Wycoff, NJ. David Hayman (pastor) arrested for sexual assault of two 16-year-old females. New Jersey youth pastor arrested on sex charges.
2014 – Grandview Baptist, Belton, MO. John Stone (deacon) charged with four counts of child molestation of church members under the age of 12. Former deacon pleads guilty to child molestation, sentenced to 5 years probation.
2014 – Muscoy United Methodist Church, Muscoy, CA. Stephen James Howard (pastor) arrested for “multiple counts of child molestation involving boys who attended the church.” Muscoy United Methodist Church pastor convicted on 32 counts of sexual child abuse.
2014 – Unidentified church, Caldwell, ID. Forest Rueben Gibson (youth pastor) charged with sexual abuse of a teen girl. He pled guilty. Ex-youth pastor pleads guilty to sexual battery.
2014 – Korean Presbyterian Church, Contra Costa, CA. Hyo Bin Im (aka John Im) (pastor) arrested for having sex with a 17-year old runaway. He had provided counseling to her and another girl and their mother. San Ramon pastor arrested for alleged sex with minor.
2014 – Unity Baptist Church, Wiggins, MS. Carlos Smith (pastor/preacher) convicted of “sexual battery of a girl at the church he previously led.” Ex-preacher molested girl for 3 years at church.
2014 – Princeton First Assembly of God, Princeton, WV. Aaron Thomas Payne (former youth pastor) arrested for multiple sex crimes at a Henrico church with a minor. He pled guilty via an Alford plea. Former Henrico youth pastor to serve reduced sentence for sex crimes.
2014 – La Roca church, Phoenix, AZ. Jorge Vasquez (pastor) arrested and charged with “six counts of child molestation, two counts of sexual conduct with a minor, four counts of sexual abuse, two counts of sexual assault and four counts of kidnapping, among other allegations.” Some of the abuse is alleged to have occurred during counseling sessions. Some victims were adult. Police: Phoenix pastor sexually abused 2 women, 2 girls.
2014 – Sharon Heights Baptist Church, Birmingham, AL. Jay Strickland (pastor) charged with “two counts of sexual abuse and one count of first-degree sodomy.” Ex-Alabama pastor charged with sexual abuse, sodomy of children.
2014 – Greater Works CME Church, Kansas City, MO. George Spencer (associate pastor) pled guilty to molestation of children. Pastor George Spencer pleaded guilty.
2014 – Raymond Road Baptist Church and Central Hinds Academy, Jackson, MS. Adam Epperson (youth pastor) arrested for sex with a 14-year old male. Baptist youth pastor Adam Epperson arrested.
2014 – North Fork Baptist Church, Shelbyville, TN. Joseph Todd Neill (youth pastor) arrested for on charges of “sexual exploitation of a minor and statuary rape by an authority figure.” Youth pastor Joseph Todd Neill pleads guilty to child porn charges.
2014 – Vessels of Christ Ministry, Terrytown, LA. Terry Reed (pastor) arrested for sexually abusing a 17-year old boy. The pastor admitted to “sleeping naked with the victim on several occasions and undressing the boy in his bed.” He was also accused of “abusing a 15-year-old boy whom he had taken in.” Pardoned of one sex offense, Terrytown pastor again accused of sexually abusing minor.
2014 – Living Waters Worship Center, Valley Grande, AL. In 2017 the church changed its name to the “No Limit Church.” William R. Best Jr. (pastor) arrested for second-degree sodomy, rape, and incest; sex with a minor on multiple occasions, including at the church office. Area pastor charged with rape.
2014 – Foursquare Gospel Church, Ponca City, OK. Joel David Bolay (youth pastor) charged with sexual abuse, lewd acts with minors, and child pornography. Church volunteer charged with distributing child porn, lewd acts.
2014 – Nichols Hills United Methodist Church, Perry, OK. Scott Barber (pastor) admitted to raping a 13-year-old girl. The Perry, OK pastor tried to say that she was the aggressor. He was charged with “rape by instrumentation, lewd acts with a minor and threats to perform violence.” Nichols Hills church administrator jailed on child rape complaint.
2014 – Total Deliverance Ministries, Philadelphia, PA. Albert A. Young (pastor) arrested for sexual assault of a 15-year old female. He is accused that he “touched her, putting his hands inside the girl’s pants, kissing her neck, and fondling her buttocks as well as pressing his genitals against her and guiding her hands to his penis.” He also is alleged to have threatened her to keep quiet about the assault. Philadelphia pastor charged with molesting mentally challenged niece in church.
2014 – St. Matthews Church of Christ, New Bern, NC. Telas Ray Staten (pastor) arrested for sex crimes with a teen boy. Kinston pastor charged with sex crimes.
2014 – Unidentified church, Melbourne, AR. Robert Jackson Norton (pastor) arrested on charges he was “rubbing the back and buttocks of at least three girl students while they stood by his desk getting help with their work.” Former teacher/pastor charged with child pornography, sexual assault.
2014 – High Desert Church, Victorville, CA. Joseph Kealoha (pastor) arrested for sexual activity with a 17-year old male over the course of a year. He and “the victim then began a dating relationship which led to sex acts.” Church volunteer arrested for sex crime.
2014 – The Crossing Church, Mena, AR. Michael W. Laws (church leader) arrested for first degree sexual assault with a minor female. Laws Charged with Sexual Assault of Minor.
2014 – Faith Impact Fellowship, Bastrop, TX. Isaiah Arellano (youth pastor) charged with sexual assault of 15-year old church member. He was assigned probation! A one-time youth pastor with Faith Impact Fellowship in Bastrop, Texas has been charged with having a sexual relationship with a 15-year old girl.
2014 – Reach Out Ministry of Hope, Tallahassee, FL. Timothy Jenkins (pastor) arrested for contact with children (as a convicted sex offender). He was previously “convicted of sexual battery by an adult of a victim under 12 years old in Duval County.” Local Pastor Arrested For Sex Offender Probation Violation.
2014 – “The Church” on East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC. Ronald Norris (pastor) arrested for sexual abuse of a teen girl. Pastor arrested on sexual abuse charge.
2014 – South Garland Baptist Church, Garland, TX. Derek Hutter (youth minister) arrested on charges of “continuous sexual abuse of a child, possession of child pornography and online solicitation of a minor.” In addition, “Hutter’s arrest affidavit states he and the girl had sex 20 times between Jan. 2014 and Sept. 2014, at the church and at his house.” Former Garland youth minister sentenced to 22 years in prison for enticing 13-year-old into sexual relationship.
2014 – Eastland Assembly Church, Wright Christian Academy, Falls Creek summer camp, OK. Timothy Shawn Cato (youth pastor) arrested for sexual abuse of children. “Cato was charged with eight counts of child sexual abuse of five boys ages 7 to 17.” Oklahoma youth pastor accused of taking two shelter kids home at a time for sexual abuse.
2014 – Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Pleasant Grove, AL. Tyrone Banks (assistant pastor) is charged with raping and sodomizing a 13-year-old in the kitchen of the church. As second victim has led to additional charges. Jeffco pastor charged in rape of 13-year-old arrested again for sex abuse of another teen.
2014 – Shiloh Baptist Church, Harrison, AR. Formerly a pastor at Victory Baptist Church in Henning, TN. Larry Michael Berkley (pastor) arrested for abuse of over a dozen boys as young as 14 and 18. Police say he plied them with alcohol and marijuana and showing them porn to gain compliance. Former pastor pleads guilty to sexual assault of juveniles.
2014 – Galilee Baptist Church, Oswasso, OK. Damien Keith Bonner (pastor) arrested for rape of a 15-year old, has been charged with “six counts of lewd molestation.” He was found guilty of two counts. A second victim has now also come forward. Pastor who was accused of molesting 15-year-old is jailed.
2014 – St. James Parish, Davis, CA. Hector Caria (priest) arrested for the rape of a teenage girl (17), but is believed to have been in a relationship with her since age 14. Charges include “charges of statutory rape and oral copulation with a minor.” Davis Priest Arrested On Sexual Abuse Charges.
2014 – Compassion Church, Perris, CA. Jerome Anthony Clay (senior pastor) charged with child rape of a girl in his congregation. Police believe there may be more victims. Prosecutors later dropped the charges due to lack of evidence. “My Faith in God is Strong”: Pastor Cleared of Rape.
2013 – Tabernacle of Life Pentecostal Church, Tarrant County, TX. Jose Bernal (pastor) arrested for continuously abusing a child. Former pastor arrested for child sex assault.
2013 – Jesus Is Father Church, and Ministerio Internacional Jesús es el Señor, Macon, GA. Yohandry Bravo (former pastor) arrested and charged with rape and aggravated sexual assault of 16-year old female. After his arrest, the charges were dropped due to lack of evidence, lack of investigation, and a victim’s false statements. “When interviewed by Indiana deputies, the girl said she sent the messages because “her mother never believed that she had been assaulted.” Ex-Macon pastor, wanted for 2 years, arrested in Atlanta.
2013 – United Pentecostal Church, Thomasville, AL. Mack Charles Andrews (pastor) arrested for rape and torture of a nine-year old. ‘My pastor was my rapist’: Alabama preacher accused of sexual torture, abuse of multiple children.
2013 – Pentecostal Outreach Church, Buena Vista, VA. Larry Clark (pastor) arrested for sexual assault of multiple male juveniles. Buena Vista Pastor Arrested for 3rd Time on Child Sex Charges.
2013 – Casa De Oracion, Little Rock, AR. Edgar Lopez Mejia (youth pastor) sexually assaulted two different boys with oral sex. LRPD searching for wanted youth pastor in 2013 sexual assault investigation.
2013 – Orangethorpe United Methodist Church, Fullerton, CA. John Rodgers McFarland (head pastor) was charged with 11 counts of molesting seven children ages 5-15. Methodist Pastor John McFarland Held in Escondido, Accused of Molesting Girl Under 14.
2013 – One Accord Ministries, Maplewood, MN. Jacoby Kindred (“pastor”) convicted of criminal sexual conduct with two young females. ‘Pastor’ Gets 12-Year Sentence For Raping Girls.
2013 – Unidentified church, Houston, TX. Darryl Houston (pastor) arrested for sexual assault of his foster daughter, age 17. “Prosecutors think that Darryl Houston is an alias for Christopher Miller who is a convicted sex offender in Michigan.” Pastor Arrested For Sexual Abuse.
2013 – Freedom Church, Paris, TX. David Ray Darby (youth pastor) was arrested on charges of aggravated sexual assault on a child. Paris youth pastor arrested for sexual assault of a child.
2013 – First Congregational Church, Dundee, IL. Chad Coe (pastor) arrested for explicit sexting and rape of a minor female (church member) in the church basement. He pled guilty to “criminal sexual abuse,” though “prosecutors dismissed the most serious charges.” Charges of possessing child porn were dropped. Ex-youth minister gets 7 years in prison for sexually abusing teen.
2013 – The Church of Corinth, Corinth, TX. Jeffrey Dale Williams (pastor) arrested and charged for “attempted sexual performance of a child.” It is alleged to have occurred at a residence where the pastor attempted to get the victim to remove her clothes. 2013 – Canton Lutheran Church, Canton, SD. Tony Haglund (pastor) arrested and charged with sex with a minor for whom he was a psychotherapist. The female client was under age of 16. Former Canton pastor charged with sexual contact with a minor.
2013 – Camp Elim (church camp), Huerfano County, CO. Mike Anthony Encina (former pastor) arrested for sexual assault of two teen males. Church camp pastor arrested for child sex assault.
2013 – Zion Plaza Church, Tulsa, OK. Gregory Ivan Hawkins (pastor) arrested and convicted for sexual abuse and impregnation of a teenaged girl. He has a history of “violating a domestic violence protective order.” A lawsuit alleges that “The victim was placed in the care of a temporary foster parent who was employed by Zion Fellowship Ministries, which resulted in Hawkins’ using ‘his position of authority over (the foster parent) to manipulate her to obtain unsupervised contact’ with the victim despite previous orders prohibiting contact between them.” Former Tulsa pastor receives seven life sentences for sexually abusing teenage girl.
2013 – Casa de Amor church, Brandon, FL. Francisco Rios (pastor) charged with “three counts of lewd and lascivious molestation” of two female minors and one adult woman. The youngest victim was 12. Pastor of Brandon church accused of inappropriate touching.
2013 – First Presbyterian Church of Salem, Salem, NJ. Jonathan Smith (former pastor) pled guilty to sexual assault of a child relative. She was less than 13-years old at the time of the assault. Ex-Salem pastor pleads guilty to sexually assaulting child, will get prison term.
2013 – Hour of Restoration Church of God in Christ, Memphis, TN. Michael Bryant (pastor) arrested for sexual abuse of his 16-year old step-daughter over a period of two years. COGIC denies indecision on suspending sex abusing Pastor.
2013 – Palisades Family Church of Christ, Birmingham, AL. Glenn Vanzandt (lead minister) charged with sexual abuse of a female under age 16 that progressed over several months. Birmingham area pastor in court on sexual abuse charges.
2013 – Church on the Rise, Avon, OH. Paul Endrei (pastor) charged with sexual battery and other sex crimes committed against an underaged victim (14). His son was also charged. The pastor pled guilty to “endangering children” and received probation. Former pastor Endrei sentenced to probation.
2013 – Heritage Assembly Church, De Moines, IA. Ryan Matthew McKelvey (youth pastor) charged with molestation of two girls—“charged with two counts of sexual exploitation by clergy and two counts of third degree sexual abuse.” Youth pastor arrested for sexual abuse of two teenage girls.
2013 – Church on the Rise, Westlake, OH. Jordan Endrei (youth pastor) arrested for sexual contact of a minor. Youth Pastor Watch.
2013 – First Presbyterian Church, River Forest, IL. John Hays (church official-ordained minister) arrested for sexual abuse of a 9-year old boy. Ex-River Forest church official charged again with sex abuse of child, authorities say.
2013 – Second Baptist Church, and later, Community of Faith Church; Houston, TX. Chad Foster (youth pastor) arrested and pled guilty to sexual assault of a 12-year old girl. Houston megachurch slapped with sexual abuse lawsuit over youth pastor’s behavior asks for prayer.
2013 – Grace Baptist Church, and principal of the Grace Baptist Christian Academy, Attleboro, MA. Jeffrey A. Nichols (assistant pastor) arrested for molestation of a female student. He “allegedly repeatedly indecently touched the girl and also made sexual comments to her. He asked her to expose herself to him and demanded sex after exposing himself to her.” Former Attleboro church school principal indicted on child molestation charges.
2013 – Grandville Baptist Church, Grandville, MI. Jeremiah Behrens (youth minister) arrested and charged with “two counts of criminal sexual conduct” for sexual assault of a minor female. Neighbor of arrested youth pastor: ‘I was shocked’.

2012 – True Life Ministries, Guthrie, OK. David Gordon Moore (pastor) pled guilty to four counts including lewd acts with a child. It is alleged that a “12-year-old girl said Moore rubbed her feet and legs, made her and another girl watch pornography and got the girls drunk.” He had been registered as a sex offender since 2002 from a previous conviction. 2012 – St. Martha Roman Catholic Church, Point Pleasant, NJ. Romannilo S. Apura (priest) charged with criminal sexual contact with a 16-year old boy. The pastor is alleged to have “masturbated the teenage boy in a home in Trenton on one occasion in the late spring to early summer of 2014. Dale Fushek (priest) “is the leader of the Praise and Worship Center in Chandler, Arizona, and the former Vicar General of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix. In 2005 he was charged with 10 criminal misdemeanor counts related to alleged sexual contact with teenage boys and young adult males. By February 2010, the charges were adjusted to four counts contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one count of indecent exposure. On April 15, 2010, Fushek agreed to a plea bargain offered by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in which he pled guilty to one of the charges. Chester Mulligan sentenced for having “had sexual intercourse multiple times with a 14-year-old girl.” In “The probable cause affidavit filed with the charges states Mulligan first tried to have intercourse with the girl in his house in East Chicago. ~1980s – Lakeside Baptist Church, Jefferson County, AL; Shocco Springs Baptist Camp, Talladega, AL. Mack Allen Davis (youth pastor)was convicted and sentenced for 15 counts of child sexual abuse in two states. Victims were alleged to be as young as nine. Former Jefferson County youth pastor charged with sex abuse; alleged incidents happened 30 years ago in 3 Alabama counties.
1975 – St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Louisville, KY. Also, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church. Louis Miller (former priest) accused in several lawsuits of alleged sexual abuse including of an eighth-grade student. An indictment lists 15 victims. ~1970s – Trinity Baptist Church, Jacksonville, FL. Robert Gray (pastor) was arrested and “admitted to detectives that he French kissed young girls at his church…hoping that they would ‘return the affection.’” He died before he could be tried, but was facing “four counts of capital sexual battery.” Six civil cases will continue to move forward against the church. Former pastor talked openly with police about sex charges.
